Thanks to the guys at the NFL Fanhouse for bringing this video of Brett Favre singing pants on the ground. Is it wrong that I love this guy? I mean he has been my arch rival for nearly 2 decades and is still in the division, but I can’t help but like him.

I know exactly what you’re saying about Favre. It’s a love hate relationship for those of us who have rooted for teams playing against him. He finds a way to win and plays with a passion that few can. His waffling about retirement the past few years says he’s a self centered jerk. His exuberance on the field during games says he’s still just a kid playing a game. While not as polished as a Manning or Brees or any of the other great quarterbacks his never say die attitude, carefree style and thirst for knowledge of the game has allowed him to lead his teams to be winners. He’s one of the elite to have ever played the game, the video shows he still has the passion to just have fun doing it. I hope he keeps coming back, or not, because I love him, or not!
American Idol does have its appeal, but I don’t have a clue why people are singing this song. Especially Brett Favre, shouldn’t he be watching from film?
