First of all Dave I really need to get you a logon, because without Ryan this site is going to get real Cub focused real fast. So hopefully I can get you that today so we have a little diversity on the site.
Anyway, back on topic Milton Bradley recently did an interview with ESPN where he said a black man can only get a pass in Chicago if they are of Hall of Fame caliber.
Chicago has had some great players come through our doors, black, white, brown, yellow, pink, and if they are good they are praised and if they are bad the are booed. It doesn’t matter. Now don’t get me wrong, I have heard my fair share of racist remarks and shouts while sitting in the bleechers, but saying that Chicago fans are racist is about as ignorant as being racist.
Milton you played poorly, we overpaid for you, and we regret you ever came here. Move on, we have.

We will see if there are allegations in Seattle, I suppose. This has been touched on briefly– Fans, if you’re going to heckle a worthless bum, heckle his worthless bum-ness. Even one fan saying something racially offensive gives jerk-off crybabies such as Mr. Bradley an excuse to underperform and still get paid.
Exactly, but like I said before judging the whole city of Chicago especially Cubs fans based on a small group of people is as ridiculous as it is to heckle someone based on color.
I hope this site becomes more Cub focused. But, Bradley really is a tool!
Bobby K,
It will be. I plan an doing updates and game recaps as often as possible. I love me some Cubs.
being a white sox fan and a baseball fan in general I am sickened by what Bradley has said. Yes I agree he is a tool.
And the consensus is in. Bradley is a tool.
I remember being at a game last year in the bleachers and a guy told Bradley: “You suck!” and he was kicked out of the game. The entire right field bleachers boo’ed the bleacher nazis who took him away and then turned their wrath upon Bradley who is only pulling the race card to explain why he couldn’t hit.
The Bleecher were the worst last year. You couldn’t stand, you couldn’t yell at players, you couldn’t swear without the threat of being removed from the park.
Time to make the bleechers 21 plus and get the atmosphere back. Bleecher Bums need to revolt.
Adam
Totally agree the bleachers have gone downhill. Maybe its time for a 18 and up restriction.
