Fat Tire Vs. Coors Light

What up peeps!  Awesome day yesterday for the real NCAA tournament, probably one of the best I have ever seen. ND goes down, Robert Morris almost pulled out a major upset over Nova, and Ohio stunned Georgetown. Throw that on top of Wisniewski getting 8 games for his hit on Seabrook and all it all it was a pretty satisfying sports day. But the real action is happening here in the Beer Bracket Tourney.  Going into the morning Guinness has a big lead over Bass and looks to be running away with that match up, but on to one of what I think it going to be one of the most competitive so far. Fat Tire Vs. Coors Light, both beers have grown wildly in popularity this year which is exceptional in what has been a down here for most beer companies.

So who gets your vote today; Fat Tire or Coors Light? Vote Now!

For me, this is not really a competition. Fat Tire is by far the better beer. However, I will say that over the last few months Coors Light has really grown on me. In fact, it is a decent beer. Can’t believe I am saying that, but there is no need to fight the truth. I just think that Fat Tire is the best.

There is no way I cannot select a beer that if you go to a bar/club, you can get a 22oz in a bottle. Awesome!

Neither beer is really anything special. Initially I was going to vote Coors Light over Fat Tire simply because I drank Coors before any other beer. But when I thought about what I would rather drink today, I have to give it up to the biscuity malt beer.

I think Fat Tire is great, but has an acquired taste. Definitely got my vote though. Hoping this may be a Cindy story since Stella got taken down by Bud Light.

I would like to see a craft beer win this thing and put the mass producers in there place.

I thought this was a beer bracket!?!? Why is Fat Tire up against a brand of water?

  6. LOL at bobby K. Seriously, how is this even fair. Fat Tire = real beer, coors light = water for you, money for them.

Adam, I agree, Fat Tire has a little acquired taste. But Coors Light has NO taste. So that’s really what the bet boils down to. Acquired taste (like Murray State) or no taste (like Notre dame – yeah, I went there).

Coors masks this “no taste” with lots of carbonation. Having received 5 Fat Tire in my last mystery pack I have grown to appreciate the taste.

Wow! Coors light is getting the high hard one from everyone. I think it is actually one of the better US light lagers. Don’t get me wrong it is no Fat Tire, but it isn’t that bad.
