what no Old Style? this bracket is rigged!
It looks like the selection committee stuck to a Division I line-up, although I am not sure how the international teams snuck in!
BK,
They don’t have Old Style on tap in both locations. So we couldn’t pick it. I know how disappointing that is. Especially since it would dominate thanks to the Kraeusening.
Adam
If you go to Old Chicago make sure you ask you waitress for a membership in the World Beer Tour club, it’s free and they put free money on your membership card for drinks.
Thanks for the tip Phil. I need to get myself a new tour card. I lost mine over a year ago.
I love the bracket, but I can’t make it for the tournament working 3-11 all month. Drink for me.
Tough one as I like them both. Bud Light is usually my beer of choice at happy hour but if Stella is available I will have to have at least one befoe hitting the BL, so I guess Stella wins out.
STEEEELLLLLAAAAAAAAA!!!! I love that beer. I think it is going to go far in the tourny. Someone thought BL was going to win, but I am not saying any names….Adam!
I won’t be able to attend any ‘official’ tastings as I’m on midnights until may. Predictions:
Fat Tire will win regardless of actual competition. Coors Light is a pretty easy first bracket, but it will win based on popularity vs. taste.
Now, the two I’m watching are the Newcastle vs. Smithwick’s and Bass vs. Guinness. Both are a tough choice for me.
BUD!!!!
I’m going Bluemoon over sunset wheat.
Oh wow, newcastle LOST because only 1 person voted on that day!!!!!! I am ashamed of myself for letting such a good beer go down like that.
I think everyone knows by now that I cast my Fanbrew vote for MILLER LITE BABY!!!!
We should have a regional tournament one of these days for the beers from the six local Northwest Indiana brew pubs.
Chris,
That is a great idea. I will have to start brainstorming ideas on how to get it done.
