Now this is absolutely my opinion and I hope to inspire some comment, but really can you call the Indy 500 The Greatest Spectacle in Racing? My answer is YOUR OUT OF YOUR MIND!!!! Sunday thousands of people are going to pack the grandstands and infield of Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a 200 mile per hour race that without doubt will not be the race or races of yester year.
The 94th running of the Indianapolis 500, lacks the SPECTALE that it claims….The field of drivers is less than exciting, Helio Castroneves is poised to collect his 4th trophy at Indy and Scott Dixon doesn’t have a prayer at winning… Tony George ruined the sport that is Indy car and I want to make this loud and clear, Danica Patrick doesn’t have a chance to win the Indy 500!
This race has lost it’s wonder. I remember a time when the time trials brought a standing room only crowd to the speedway. I remember the awe of the Indianapolis 500 when I was child. I only wish the luster of the greatest spectacle in racing could reclaim its glory. I am salty and that’s because, without a substantial race beside Indy, this racing series is lack luster! Yes, it is the greatest spectacle if you are into sitting next to rude foreigners who don’t believe in deoderant and the european chicks have more armpit hair than I do. Most overrated race there is and a waste of tv listening to the annoying lil cars. Still waiting for someone to punch Danica “I am a badass” Patrick in the face whenever she decides to stalk out a driver who apparently “rubbed” her on the track. B-O-R-I-N-G…ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ….Can’t believe the fan brew clan made this a topic…c’mon guys, you can do better. Peace Out.
