What’s Your Favorite Style?

Dogfish Head's 90 Minute IPA
Hey everybody,

Yesterday I had a good time discussing favorite Summer beers with our friends on Facebook so today I would just like to find out what everybody’s favorite style of beer is?

Do you enjoy a huge Imperial Stout or maybe a crisp Pilsner? Personally I love the gigantic IPAs, the Imperials with 9-10% ABV. Which is why this post is sitting next to what I think is the best IPA on the planet, Dogfishhead’s 90 Minute IPA.

So take a minute in the comment below to tell me what your favorite style of beer is, and what you favorite beer in that style is.

  1. stouts are my fav, but I like all beers. I guess I am a true beer drinker.

  2. If I had to pick a style of beer it would definitely be a dark lager. But anything that has spices is good in my book.

    • Robert,

You definitely need to get into the wit (white) beers. They are generally made with orange rind and coriander or some other similar spice.

I think they will definitely fit your palate.

      • I had the Wit beer from Brickworks and didn’t like it. I remember regretting ordering the tallest glass. I’m not sure if I have had any other ones though.

  3. I am going to it would be the russian stouts, but Java stouts are good to.

  4. I have never even heard of a breakfast/java stout. I really need to spend some more quality time just searching.
