An article written by Kelly Dwyer on Yahoo.com, states LeBron James rejected his $3000 + dollar birthday cake! LeBron’s people reportedly told the baker when they got the bill, “”That cake couldn’t be worth more than $600. It’s flour, eggs and water.”
Maybe LeBron’s people forget people have overhead, a staff, and the fact that cake can probably only be made by a handful of people in the world. Personally, I’m in the baker’s corner on this one. I know LeBron probably didn’t even see the cake, but its the principle behind a hand shake deal. There’s only one thing to say, “you can’t have your cake and eat it too!”
